Welcome to the official web site for Solihull T.A.G.B Tae Kwon-Do club.
Solihull Tae Kwon Do Martial Arts club is affiliated with the TAGB (Tae Kwon-do Association of Great Britain), which is Britain's largest single Tae Kwon-do Association, with over 20,000 members in over 350 clubs nationwide. The T.A.G.B. is recognised by the British Tae Kwon-do Council and the government Sports Council, ensuring professional and safe tuition at all times. All instructors in the T.A.G.B. must have complete insurance and be Police CRB Checked.
Why do we train?
There are many reasons why people want to learn Tae Kwon-Do and it is a personal choice. Whether it is for self defence in our increasing violent society, confidence, fitness, flexibility, or to instil a sense of discipline and respect, you will find that the club provides for all these needs and many more besides.
The club has a friendly atmosphere and consists of students who have been training from several months to many years, with ages ranging from children to adults. Anyone is welcome to join and all new members are offered free trial lessons to experience Tae Kwon-Do for themselves before joining.
Who am I?
My name is Mark Shuter and I have been training with the T.A.G.B for over 24 years, during which time I have reached the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt. Whilst training, I've had the honour to be instructed by Mr Kenny Walton and Mr David Oliver, both 8th Degree Black belts and founder committee members of the T.A.G.B. I have been training at the Solihull Club for over 20 years, assisting in teaching there for over 18 years before taking over in May 2010.As an instructor in the T.A.G.B. I am fully insured and have current full CRB check.
Where are we?
The club is based in Solihull at Greswold Primary School, which is located in Buryfield Road Solihull B912AZ
When do we train?
We train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm to 9pm
Beginner Classes run from 7pm to 8pm
Advanced Classes run from 8pm to 9pm
